Answer "where is my order?" without leaving Gmail
CaseKit is a Chrome extension for Shopify stores that handle support in Gmail.
Open a customer's email and CaseKit finds their order, shows what is actually
happening with the shipment, and writes the reply.
One click puts it in the composer. No tab switching, no copying order numbers,
no helpdesk to migrate to.
Free plan includes unlimited order lookups and 25 replies a month. No card required.
How it works
Four steps, and you only do the last one.
1. Open the email
A customer asks where their order is. You open it in Gmail as usual.
2. CaseKit finds the order
From the order number if they gave one, from their email address if they didn't.
3. It reads the real status
Fulfilment state, carrier and tracking, straight from your Shopify store.
4. You send the reply
One click puts it in the composer, above your signature. You read it, you send it.
The reply matches the order, not a template
Most reply tools guess. CaseKit reads the order state from Shopify and picks the reply that matches it — an order still being packed gets a different message than one out for delivery today.
It won't invent a delivery date
If Shopify has no delivery estimate, the reply doesn't mention one. If the carrier hasn't scanned the parcel yet, CaseKit says exactly that instead of pretending the package is moving.
You never have to check whether the draft promised something you can't deliver.
It replies in your customer's language
A customer writes in French, the reply comes back in French. English, French, Spanish, German and Italian are included on every plan.
On Pro, replies are written from the customer's actual message and follow your store's tone and policies.
Built for stores that answer support in Gmail
If you're a store owner answering support yourself, or a small team sharing an inbox, this is built for you.
Nothing to migrate
No helpdesk to move to, no tickets to import, no new inbox to learn. It works in the Gmail you already use.
Nothing to configure
Connect Shopify in one click. There is no API key to create and no token to paste anywhere.
Read-only, always
CaseKit cannot edit, refund, cancel or fulfil an order. It reads order status and writes a draft. That's all.
When it can't find the order
It tells you why, and gives you somewhere to go. CaseKit never leaves you looking at an empty panel.
Two orders open
It asks which one rather than guessing, and shows the number, date and status of each.
No match at all
Search by order number or email address from the card. If the order is older than the 60-day window Shopify shares by default, it says so.
Privacy
CaseKit reads only the conversation currently open on your screen. Not your mailbox, not your other threads, not your attachments.
It does not use the Gmail API and never requests access to your mail account. What leaves your browser is the sender's email address, any order number in the message, and a short snippet used to understand what they're asking. Shopify access is read-only, and order data is fetched when you need it rather than copied into a database.
Try it on your next order email
Free plan: unlimited order lookups and 25 replies a month. Setup takes about two minutes.
Questions
Do I need to change my helpdesk?

Can CaseKit change my orders?
No. It requests read-only access to Shopify. It cannot edit, refund, cancel or fulfil anything.
Does it read my whole mailbox?
No. It reads only the conversation open on screen, and it does not use the Gmail API.
Does it send emails on its own?
Never. It writes a draft into the composer. You read it and you send it.
What does it cost?
Free for 25 replies a month with unlimited order lookups. Pro is $19 a month for unlimited replies, tone control and replies written from the customer's own message. Billing is handled by Shopify. See pricing.

Which languages does it reply in?
