Solution

When you are also the support team

Running a small Shopify store means support is the thing that interrupts everything else. Not because the questions are hard, but because each one pulls you out of what you were doing and into the Shopify admin.

Free plan: unlimited order lookups and 25 replies a month. No card.

Built for the way solo support actually happens

In between other work

You answer support in gaps: between packing, between supplier calls. Every context switch costs more than the reply itself.

No setup project

You do not have a weekend to configure a helpdesk. Install, connect, open an email — that is the whole onboarding.

Nothing you can break

Read-only Shopify access means CaseKit cannot refund, cancel or edit an order by accident.

Why the Free plan is usable

Unlimited order lookups and 25 prepared replies a month, permanently, with the full order card and all five languages.

For a store doing a handful of support emails a day, that covers a real working month. The point of Free is not to frustrate you into upgrading — it is to let the workflow prove itself on your own orders.

Pro becomes worth $19 when you want the reply to sound like your store rather than like a template, or when a second person starts answering email.

On the Free plan
  1. Order resolved from the customer's email
  2. Real fulfillment and tracking state
  3. Correct WISMO scenario
  4. Localized reply, inserted into Gmail

The complete loop, at $0.

Common questions

I am the only person doing support. Is this worth it?
That is the case it was designed for. The Free plan covers unlimited order lookups and 25 replies a month, which is enough for a lot of small stores without paying anything.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes: install the extension, connect the store, open an email. There is no data import and no configuration required to get value.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. There is no API key to create and no token to paste. You approve read-only access from the CaseKit app.
What happens when I grow past this?
Pro adds up to 3 team members, shared macros and store tone. Past that, a full helpdesk is probably the better fit, and the comparison pages explain when.
Is the Free plan going to disappear?
Free is a permanent plan, not a trial. It exists because a merchant should be able to see the full workflow work on their own orders before deciding anything.
