Status

CaseKit system status

These checks run from your browser when you open this page. They are not stored values, so this page cannot tell you everything is fine while the service is down.

A failure here can mean the service is down, or that your own network or an extension is blocking the request. If the checks look wrong to you, that is worth telling us.

Incident log

Written up after the fact, with the cause, not just the downtime.

No incidents recorded. We started keeping this log on 29 August 2026, which is recent enough that an empty list means "nothing yet" rather than "nothing ever". Anything that takes order lookup or reply generation down for more than a few minutes gets written up here, including what caused it.

What CaseKit depends on

If one of these is having a bad day, CaseKit will too. We link their status pages rather than reporting on someone else's uptime.

What happens when something breaks

The extension fails quietly

If CaseKit cannot reach the service or your store, it says so in its own panel and leaves Gmail untouched. It never half-fills a reply.

No guessed order states

A failed lookup produces an error, not a fallback "your order is on its way". A wrong status is worse than no status.

Pro degrades to Free behaviour

If AI rewriting is unavailable, the deterministic reply built from your Shopify data stays there and stays usable.

Status questions

Where do these results come from?
Your own browser. When you load this page it calls each CaseKit endpoint directly and reports what came back. Nothing on the page is a stored value, so it cannot show 'operational' while the service is down — but it also means a failure on your network looks the same as a failure on ours.
Why is there no uptime percentage?
Because we would have to have been measuring it to publish one, and a made-up number is worth less than no number. Once external monitoring has run for a full quarter the figure will appear here with the monitor named.
What happens if CaseKit is down?
The extension fails quietly. It shows that it could not reach the service in its own panel and leaves Gmail working exactly as before. It never blocks the composer or partially fills a reply.
Does a Shopify outage break CaseKit?
Order lookups will fail, because Shopify is the source of the order data. CaseKit reports that it could not reach your store rather than guessing at a status. Shopify's own status page is linked below.
How do I report an outage?
Email support@casekit.app or open a ticket on the support page. If the checks above are green for you but CaseKit is not working, that is useful information — say so.

Something not working?

Open a ticket and we will pick it up. Support runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 UTC+1, with a target first reply within one working day.
