Three inputs. One reply.
Nothing to configure before the first answer.
Order number or email
Either one. Given an email, CaseKit finds the customer's relevant order. Given two candidates, it asks.
The customer's message
Paste it. CaseKit reads it to pick the scenario and, on Pro, to answer what was actually asked.
Write reply
The order is resolved, the fulfilment state read, and the reply written against it. Copy it into whatever you answer from.
The reply matches what actually happened
CaseKit reads fulfilment and tracking from your store, then picks the reply that fits. An order still being packed gets a different message than one out for delivery today, and a parcel the carrier has not scanned is described exactly that way.
- Preparing, shipped, in transit, out for delivery, delivered
- Carrier and tracking number taken from the order, never retyped
- Delivered-but-not-received handled as its own case
- No delivery date unless your store has one

The Chrome extension does the same work from inside the email: it reads the open conversation, finds the order, and puts the reply straight into the composer. Same store connection, same replies, one fewer step.
It is an accelerator, not a requirement. Everything above works without it.
What it can and cannot do in your store
| Action | CaseKit |
|---|---|
| Read order, customer and fulfilment data | Yes, read-only |
| Write a reply from that data | Yes |
| Refund, cancel, edit or fulfil an order | No — no write scopes |
| Send an email to your customer | No — you send it |
| Copy your orders into its own database | No |
| Work without the Chrome extension | Yes, fully |
